I invented the most effective polio vaccine which is named after me. Growing up, I was the oldest son and I had 2 younger brothers. I worked after school to pay for my education. I became a microbiologist.  Thanks to my polio vaccine, millions of Americans have been saved from contracting polio. Who am I?
