Fultondale Elementary School RLC-Gifted

We are proud to be selected by Jefferson State College’s National Honor Society Phi Beta Kappa as their “Imagine A World” essay contest recipients. The students divided into 3 groups and designed environmentally-friendly projects to “Imagine A World” safer and better for our school. All three groups were chosen essay winners and were given a monetary donation to jumpstart their projects. The group “Green Garden” is building a teachers’ favorite flowers garden with a bench. The group “The Naturals” is building a bird sanctuary and the group “The Recyclables” is building compost bins for the garden and placing recycling bins throughout the school facility. The beginning of a environmental legacy!
